Kay,
What a beautiful article this was. As I was reading it I thought about Elmer because April 7th. will be a year since his sudden homegoing. In some ways it is impossible to believe & others it seems like just yesterday. But, thru it all God has become my everything more than ever.
There are times I can still hear him say “Blessed of the good Lord” when someone asked him how he was & also he would tell people that his ultimate goal in life is for “Others to see Him in me!” And they certainly did because I have heard people say that they will never forget those 2 sayings because they always remember Elmer as he said them, with his face radiant with God’s love showing to everyone.
Love & miss you all,
Jean
Thank you for sharing your heart. Yes, I still hear Elmer say, “Blessed of the good Lord” when I think about him, too! What a treasure the Lord gave you for an earthly husband. What a blessing that He has promised to be a Husband to the widow – so you never will be husbandless!
Blessings and love to you!
Kay
Chidinmasaid:
Dear Kay,
I am inspired by your love for the Lord and your obedience to Him…which are indeed one and the same.
May you continue to be used of God as you surrender to His will alone. God bless you, my sister!
